Page Text: Journal submission status To check the status of a submitted paper, log in to our online manuscript processing system . Once you have logged in, you will be at your Author Main Menu. Click on “Submissions Being Processed." This page will display manuscripts of yours that are currently under consideration at Health Affairs, along with their status. To check the status of a submitted Forefront article, log into our Forefront article submission system with your email and password. Podcast submission status A member of the Health Affairs team will reach out to you if your podcast submission has been reviewed and accepted. Based on the volume of interest, we may not respond to every submission. Brief submission status A member of the Health Affairs editorial team will reach out to you if they are interested in further exploring your Health Policy Brief proposal. Our Process Health Affairs submission requirements vary by content type. Review Each submission, if approved, goes through a rigorous peer-review and/or editorial review process for adherence to submission guidelines. Revision You will have a chance to work closely with Health Affairs editors or podcast producers during the content revision process to ensure high-quality output of your content. Approval After the revision process, Health Affairs editors or podcast producers will inform you of approval and timing of publication. Copy Editing & Production The final approved content will be copy-edited for clarity and will adhere to the editorial style guide standards and other production standards  as set out by Health Affairs. Journal Submissions Health Affairs Journal publishes about 300 articles and 2,300 pages per year on a monthly basis, with several ahead of print articles each month.
