Page Text: Rachel Johnston             Kirk Woolley Specific Volunteer Needs: Volunteers are VITAL to the Senior Center and there are many ways to get involved and give of your time. All levels of volunteering are greatly appreciated. There are many opportunities for all to get involved. Nutrition Lunch Program - Posted on 04/01/2022 - Want a little routine to your week? Do you enjoy how food brings people together? Mt. Si Senior Center seeks volunteers to help prepare and serve 25-30 meals each day. Volunteers are needed WEDNESDAYS from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. We are also looking for THURSDAYS & FRIDAYS BEGINNING IN JUNE. Call us at 425-888-3434 or visit http://www.mtsiseniorcenter.org/volunteering for more info. Outreach - We need people to make phone calls as part of an extended and ongoing outreach effort that aims to make new visitors to the Center feel welcomed. Spanish Speaking Volunteers - In order to bring inclusive programs to our Spanish-speaking community members, Mt. Si Senior Center and SeaMar are seeking volunteers willing to act as translators and hosts for activities and our congregate lunch program. This position is a great way to give back to the community and have some fun at the same time. Call 425-888-3434 for more information. The Fundraising Committee seeks volunteers with an interest in several aspects of fundraising efforts including: * Donation Solicitations - Several volunteers are       needed to solicit quality items for our various fundraisers and special events that are held throughout the year. * Greenery & Flowers Manager - Volunteers are needed to help with 2 to 3 greenery fundraisers each year. Volunteers will help with sales in the community and help handle distribution of the items ordered. * Event Team - Several fundraising events are planned for the fall, and we will need help with event setup, decoration, registration, and clean up. ​Volunteer Drivers for Trips: as needed. Travel to interesting and fun places for day trips. We also have some over night trips ​Kitchen Coffee Servers: Mon - Fri 9am - 12:30 pm Front Desk to help with answering phones: Mon - Fri 1pm - 4pm Volunteers to Drive Seniors to medical appointments: as needed (must be 25 years or older) ​Exterior Landscaping & Maintenance: March/April through October, set your own hours between 9am - 4pm Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at Mt.
