Page Text: Melliyal Annamalai Distinguished Product Manager Melliyal (Melli) Annamalai is a distinguished product manager at Oracle. She has more than 20 years of experience working with unstructured and semistructured data in the database, including multimedia data, data in Apache Hadoop platforms, property graphs, and RDF knowledge graphs. Her current focus areas are graph databases and analytics, and she finds ways to make it easy for developers to use graphs in any application. She enjoys working with developers as they create and deploy solutions to solve business problems so that she can better tailor product enhancements to what they need. She is a regular presenter at industry events, Oracle User Group meetings and techcasts, and Oracle Developer events. Melli has a PhD in computer science from Purdue University. Ludovico Caldara Senior Principal Product Manager As a product manager on the team responsible for high availability, scalability, and Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA) in Oracle Database, Ludovico Caldara takes care of Oracle Data Guard, Flashback, and cloud MAA technologies. Before joining Oracle, Ludovico was a DBA, consultant, and trainer for Oracle customers and partners for more than twenty years, focusing primarily on Oracle Database and high availability architectures. Mike Dietrich Distinguished Product Manager Based in Bavaria, Germany and with almost 30 years of experience in the IT industry, Mike Dietrich is currently a distinguished product manager at Oracle focused on database upgrades and migrations. He is responsible for evangelizing, influencing, and demonstrating Oracle technology solutions related to database upgrades, migrations, and consolidation to Oracle customers and partners worldwide. William Endress Director, Product Management William (Bud) Endress a member of the Oracle Data Warehouse and SQL product management team, responsible for analytic views, data loading in Oracle Autonomous Database, in-memory aggregation (a feature of Oracle Database In-Memory), and the OLAP option to Oracle Database. In this role, he is a member of the management team responsible for product planning, positioning, and delivery. Previously, Bud was director of product management for Oracle Express Server and has held senior product management positions for analytic applications at Oracle. He has been a member of management teams for business intelligence applications and database technology at Oracle for more than 25 years. Sanjay Goil Vice President, Product Management Sanjay Goil is vice president of product management for messaging and microservices in Oracle Database. He leads product management for advanced queuing and event queues and is responsible for evangelizing microservices for data-centric, modern application development with the converged Oracle Database. Russ Lowenthal Senior Director, Product Management Russ Lowenthal is the senior director of product management focusing on database security, including database encryption, access control, audit, and monitoring. Leveraging more than thirty years of experience in IT including database, UNIX systems, and network administration, Russ now advises Oracle’s customers on secure implementations of information systems technology. Russ’ certifications include Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM), Oracle Certified Master (OCM), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), and Certified Technical Trainer (CTT). Jayant Mahto Senior Principal Product Manager Jayant Mahto is a senior principal product manager for Oracle Database Server technologies at Oracle. He has been developing tools and applications for data warehousing and business intelligence for more than two decades. Her team also helps customers get direct access to Oracle Database technology in combination with Oracle’s other platform and cloud solutions.
