Recommendations for this website

There are a number of pages that do not use the description meta tag. Whilst not as important as they once were for Search Engine Optimization the description Meta tag is commonly by search engines to provide a preview snippet about what the page is about. We recommend that you do utilise the description meta tag for each page within your website.
There are a number of pages that are using tables for layout instead of CSS / DIVs. A general rule of thumb is to use CSS / DIVs for layout and tables for displaying data in tabular (table) format. Whilst utilising tables for layout is not a show stopper we highly recommend *not* using tables for layout.
It appears that the server hosting the website is not utilizing GZIP compression when serving pages. Enabling compression on your server will save both time and bandwidth - we recommend enabling compression on your server.
There are a number of pages where we were unable to detect header tags. Traditionally header tags have been used by Search Engines in order to determine what parts of the page contain the most important information. We recommend that you use header tags in conjunction with the most important keywords on each webpage.
There are a number of pages where images are being displayed without the associated width and height attributes. Where an image height and width are not specified the browser is unaware of the image size and cannot reserve the appropriate space for it. Whilst not as important as they once for Search Engine Optimization the keywords Meta tag has been referenced as still being relevant by Google (Where a website is a news based website) and Yahoo. We recommend that you do utilise the keywords meta tag for each page within your website.

A link with empty anchor text will still be spidered by search engines but you are losing a good opportunity to add relevance to your pages. We recommend that all links have good quality anchor text - by good quality avoid using anchor text such as 'Click here' or 'See more'.
There are a number of pages that have possible spelling mistakes on them. Spelling mistakes within a website make it look unprofessional and less likely to appear as an authority site. Our recommendation is to fix any spelling mistakes that you may have on your website as soon as possible.
There are a number of pages that do not use the title meta tag. Whilst not as important as they once for Search Engine Optimization the title Meta tag is usually what is shown as the main heading in search engine results. Page Text: » Contact Photographer · Photographer Profile Remarks & Notes Western Maryland Scenic Railroad's 1309 is photographed inside of Brush Tunnel. 1309 is the second largest operating locomotive in the United States, and the largest in regular service. This 2-6-6-2 Mallet Type locomotive was the last steam locomotive built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for a North American railroad, signifying the soon-obsolescence of steam engines. Despite being constructed late in the steam era in 1949, the locomotive was built to nearly the same designs as those of 1910s, using antiquated Prewar technology from 40 years prior. The locomotive served a short service life on the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad before retirement just seven years later in 1956. After retirement, the 1309 was stored in a roundhouse until being conveyed to the B&O Museum in Baltimore. Around 2014, the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad decided to purchase, restore, and operate the 1309 after sitting idle for 64 years. In 2021, the hard work and fundraising by the WMSR paid off. Before this, the grain train came to a stop at East Pica to let the Z-AUGSBD pull up next to it and swap crews. This move is usually done as the crew on the Z-train was having a quicker trip, up until that point, than the crew of the train they're swapping with. In this case, the crew on the grain train was 45 minutes older than the Z-train crew. This is help dispatchers get the train crews to their terminal within their hours of service.
