Page Text: GeoCities Midi Archive Geocities Midi Archive - 150 000 Midi files GeoCities was a web hosting service that was founded in 1994 and was one of the first services to offer free web hosting. The company was acquired by Yahoo! in 1999, and shut down in 2009. Geocities was one of the most popular web hosting services of its time, with over 38 million users at its peak in 2000. The service allowed users to create their own website using pre-made templates, and provided them with a web address (URL) that they could share with others. Geocities was especially popular among young people and hobbyists who used the service to create personal websites or to share information about their interests. The shutdown of Geocities in 2009 was met with sadness and nostalgia by many of its former users. For many, GeoCities was their first experience creating and sharing content on the internet, and the loss of the service meant the loss of a part of their online identity. While there are now many other ways to create a website, Geocities will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who used it. On that note, we are proud to offer over 150 000 midi files extracted from the former GeoCities websites - enjoy the trip down memory lane Try searching for Titanic or perhaps BonJovi Search the Geocities Midi Archive Browse the Geocities Midi Archive by song title
