Page Text: Website Assessment How well is your website working for you? If you have a self hosted WordPress site, there are many elements that need to be properly configured to ensure that your site is secure, well indexed and optimized for search and usability. Every site we build comes with 2-3 Skype training sessions that cover these important points. We’ve created this new Website Assessment service to help you address the following questions: Is your WordPress installation properly configured and optimized for usability? Is your WordPress installation secure or are you a target for hackers? Do you have a good backup plan and a good recovery (restore) plan? Is your home page properly indexed for Search Engine Optimization? Are your internal pages and posts properly indexed for Search Engine Optimization? Are your images properly indexed for Search Engine Optimization? Is your site easily navigated or is it cumbersome to surf? Is your site optimized for mobile? Is your site optimized for speed (load time). Can you tell at a glance what kind of traffic you are getting and where that traffic is coming from? Does your WordPress theme allow you to easily add elements to the home page or sidebars? Are you using your site footers properly? Do you have a favicon? Do you have ‘good’ social media sharing options and are they working for you? Are your social media links working for you? Are you spending more time trying to figure all of these things out at the expense of posting content and, if applicable, driving revenue? If you cannot answer yes to most of these questions, you should consider our Website Assessment service. We’ll analyze each of the points mentioned above and provide you with an assessment report and recommendations. Depending on how many clients we have in the queue, we can typically provide this report within 7 days of your purchase. Then, we will schedule 2, 1/2 hour Skype sessions to teach you how to implement our recommendations. We’ll need you to provide us with an administrative login for your WordPress site.
