Is Integrative Nutrition Really Going to Help Me Get Healthier?

I went to Integrative Nutrition after conquering a 6-year battle with fibromyalgia using a drug-free holistic approach and I wanted to be able to help others do the same. I had no idea what I was in for! I achieved a new career in health coaching and at age 56 I feel like my life has just begun!

The visiting lecturers were inspiring. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to a wide range of perspectives, from vegan to Paleo and everything in between. Built on the premise that we are all individuals and no one approach is right for everyone, this course invites you to experiment with your own body to find what works for you, and teaches you to actively listen to your clients as you coach them to find what works for them.

My experience with IIN was informative. I was seeking information about diet and lifestyle change, and I got that and so much more. I enjoyed the hands on, experiential learning. I was able to break through some personal blocks that kept me from meeting goals using information taught during the course. The process of allowing clients to discover their own answers to their problems creates a win-win scenario for all involved parties.

Can I Make a Living Through Health Coaching?

I worked in financial services for 16 years and knew I wanted to make a career change, but wasn't sure how to do it. Integrative Nutrition provides health and wellness and business knowledge, and gives you an incredible network and community to be a part of. I am now a health coach and have helped my clients meet and exceed the health goals they set for themselves. It is such a wonderful feeling to know what you do actually makes a difference in people's lives.

The Institute for Integrative Nutrition fine-tuned my education, and gave me the vital business training and the confidence I required to carry out my plan. I am currently supporting clients towards better quality food selection and weight management and working with a school to improve the canteen food as well as starting a buying club for quality foods in my area.
