When you first activate your WesternAccount, you will be asked to create a secret question and answer. You can change these at any time. When creating a secret question and answer, keep the following tips in mind: Do use a question and answer that generally only you will know Do use a question that is enduring (e.g. mother's maiden name, the name of your first pet, etc.) Do not use a question and answer that may change over time (e.g. name of your best friend, your favorite song, etc.) Do not use the following characters:  '   `   "   &   <   > If you forget your password, click on the 'Forgot your password' link from WesternAccount page: this will prompt you to enter your staff or student number you will then be prompted to answer your secret question You will then be able to change your password without entering your old password.
