Page Text: You can update your personal details or just your contact details through the Student Portal.
Personal details are first/middle/last name, preferred name, date of birth, country/town/city of birth and gender.
Contact details include email, mobile, home phone and postal address.
Update Personal Details
You do not need any identification to update your preferred name, gender, country/town/city of birth or contact details.
You will need one (1) form of identification to update your first name, last name or date of birth.
You can update your personal details on your USI account by:
Clicking on the Update your details button below
Agree to the terms and conditions and login to your account
Click on Update Personal Details
Update your preferred name, gender, country/town/city of birth, then click Next.
Your personal details will be updated.
Update your first/last name/date of birth, select Next
Select the method of identification you wish to use, select Next
Enter your details as it appears on your identification, click Next.

Update your first and last name
If you need to change both first name AND last name, please contact us on 1300 857 536 between 8:30am and 6:30pm (AEST), Monday to Friday (excluding national and South Australian public holidays.
Update Contact Details
You can update your contact details on your USI account by:
Clicking on the Update your details button below
Agree to the terms and conditions and login to your account
Click on Update Contact Details
Update the required information and click on Next.
Your contact details will now be updated.
