What is the Australian Apprenticeship Support Network?
The Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (Apprenticeship Network) is your first point of contact for all queries about apprenticeships.
Seven Apprenticeship Network providers, operating from around 130 full time sites, with approximately 500 mobile field officers, are contracted by the Department of Education, Skill and Employment.
You cannot start an Australian Apprenticeship without an Apprenticeship Network provider.
Apprenticeship Network providers give personalised advice and support services from pre-commencement to completion. Apprenticeship Network providers offer the following support services:
Universal services:
regular contact
Targeted services for individuals who need extra support to complete their apprenticeship.
Sometimes an apprenticeship is not the right fit for a person. Apprenticeship Network providers also help people find alternative training pathways if they are not suited to an apprenticeship.

Australian Apprenticeship Support Network Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct applies to all Apprenticeship Network providers and their staff.
It represents the standards they apply when they deal with you. This means that you can expect to receive high quality support services.
The Code is available through your Apprenticeship Network provider , on display in their office and on online.
National Code of Good Practice for Australian Apprenticeships
The Code of Good Practice has been developed to ensure Employers and Apprentices entering into a Training Contract have a clear understanding of each other’s obligations and expectations throughout the lifetime of an Australian Apprenticeship.
The Apprenticeship Network provider will provide a copy of the Code of Good Practice to the Employer and Australian Apprentice at the time of sign up, which should be retained for future reference.
