Page Text: // 4 Comments Happy Monday Stampers, Its Alternate Monday time! What is Alternate Monday???  This means I am sharing a card taken from the blog hop that I participate in each Thursday. I am taking either the sketch or color challenge and making a second card that is close to or similar to the posted card from the hop.  I want to inspire you to get different looks for your card by mixing it up a bit by color and design.  Today I used the same layout, with a twist and changed the colors to give the card an “Alternate” look. Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home: Card base: Fresh Freesia 4-1/4 x 11, scored at 5-1/2 Mat: Pool Party 4 x 5-1/4 DSP strip: Friendly Hello 1-3/4 x 5-1/4 Embossed Panel: Basic White embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder 3 x 4-1/2 The Details: Stamp the flower images from the Honeybee Home stamp set onto Basic White card stock with Black Tuxedo Memento Ink Color in the images as follows with Stampin Blends: Blue Bells: Pool Party flowers and Granny Apple Green leaves Daisy like flower: Fresh Freesia After you color the stamped images die cut them out using the Honeybee Blooms Dies The Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment from the Garden Greenhouse stamp set in Black Ink onto Basic White Die cut oval from the Layering Oval Dies Die cut a Pool Party Scallop mat from the Layering Oval Die and adhere them together Putting the Card Together: Adhere the Pool Party panel to the front of the card Attach the DSP strip to the left-hand side of the Pool Party panel Attach the embossed Basic White panel to the front of the care with Stampin Seal Attach the sentiment piece to the center of the card with Dimensionals Wrap a piece of Fresh Freesia ribbon around this panel Adhere this panel to the front of the card with Stampin Seal Arrange your flowers on the oval die cut and attach with Liquid Glue Finishing Touches: Adhere a Fresh Freesia bow to the left-hand side of the card front Add some Pearls to the front of the card and you are done Card Inspiration: Here is the care from our Thursday Blog Hop that inspired todays “alternate” look Can I help you?
