Good Saturday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you have some fun plans in the works. I’ll be prepping all day for our Easter brunch tomorrow. I’m looking forward to getting together with my niece and her daughter. Yesterday I made my Easter Egg bread. I started around 7am and didn’t take the last one out of the oven until 7pm. I made 8 loaves that I’ll be sharing with others. My family couldn’t wait to cut into the 1st one out of the oven and I have to admit neither could I. Here’s a picture of the 1st one out which is about 13″-14″ in diameter. They all came out perfect this year, YAY!!!
Today’s card is one that one of my cashiers asked me to make for her. Her grandson is turning 2 and loves monkeys, so I knew exactly what I wanted to make for her. Here’s my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Catch You Later Cling Stamp Set along with the 2021-2023 In-Color Designer Series Paper, In the Wild Designer Series Paper, Playful Alphabet Dies and the Hippo & Friends Dies. All these items will be retiring, so if these are products you like grab them while you still can.
I started by adhering a panel of 2021-2023 In-Color DSP to a Soft Succulent card base. I stamped the monkey image from the Catch You Later stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock and colored it using my Crumb Cake, Evening Evergreen, Flirty Flamingo & Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image out using my Hippo & Friends Dies. I cut a panel of In the Wild DSP using the size larger die from the Hippo & Friends Dies and adhered the artwork to it using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered a piece of Evening Evergreen Bakers Twine from the Fan Baker’s Twine Pack on the card front and adhered the layered panel over it using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
From a panel of Evening Evergreen cardstock that I had adhered to a Foam Adhesive Sheet, I cut the letters and number using the Playful Alphabet Dies. I adhered the letters down the side of the card front.
I adhered the #2 on the monkey’s foot on the artwork. I added a few Playing With Patterns Resin Dots to the card front.
I adhered a panel of In the Wild DSP to the inside of the Soft Succulent card base. On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the monkey image from the Catch You Later stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it the same as the card front with my Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the 2 sentiments from the Catch You Later stamp set by the monkey image. From the panel of Evening Evergreen cardstock I cut 2 of the string dies from the Hippo & Friends Dies. I cut 2 of the balloons from the Hippo & Friends Dies from scraps of Daffodil Delight and Real Red cardstock. I adhered the strings to the monkeys hands using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the balloons to the strings using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the monkey image from the Catch You Later stamp set on the envelope front in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image the same as I did for the card using my Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of the 2021-2023 In-Color DSP to the envelope flap.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and it really is Good Friday. Welcome to my fun fold Friday. How are you all doing today? Are you ready for the weekend? I’m off this weekend, both places are closed on Easter Sunday, and I took off Saturday to prep for my Easter Sunday brunch. I’ll be in my kitchen most of the day today making Easter Egg bread. It’s been a tradition for years in my family, my mom used to make it then I took over. I’m hoping with any luck my daughter will someday take over from me. It’s an all-day thing, mixing, rising, mixing more ingredients in, rising, shaping, rising and finally baking. I believe it takes 5 hours of rising total. In the end it is well worth it. I have an antique cookbook that the recipe is from that I’ve had to modify a little.
Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here’s my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper and the Stampin’ Up! Celebrating You Cling Stamp Set for my card today.
I also played along with Cardz 4 Galz Challenge #170 Fun Folds .
Here is the template I promised from my video.
I started by scoring a panel of Rich Razzleberry cardstock in half both directions as in the photo above. I cut the top right quarter of the panel off and cut the top right and bottom left quarters on a diagonal.
I cut a panel of Flowering Fields DSP on a diagonal and adhered it to the card base. Be careful if you have a directional pattern, you want to cut it the correct way.
On a panel of Basic Whtie cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrating You stamp set in Rich Razzleberry Ink. I stamped the medium tulip image from the Flowering Tulips stamp set in Fresh Freesia Ink and the stem & leaves in Soft Succulent Ink. I cut the sentiment and image our using the Stylish Shapes Dies (available May 3). I adhered the tulip to the top fold down panel of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the sentiment to the square die cut using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tied a small bow using the Fresh Freesia 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon and adhered it to the stem using a Glue Dot. I added a few 2021-2023 In-Color Jewels to the card front.
On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Flowering Tulips stamp set in Rich Razzleberry Ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of the Flowering Fields DSP to the side of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Fresh Freesia mat and then to the inside of the Rich Razzleberry card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the medium tulip image from the Flowering Tulips stamp set in Fresh Freesia Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the stem and leaves in Soft Succulent Ink. I adhered a panel of the Flowering Fields DSP to the envelope flap.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. I hope you will CASE this card and please feel free to post it in the comments of my Facebook page under my post. I’d love to see your take on the card. The list of measurements are below if you’d like to stamp along while watching the video. You can watch my video on my Facebook page Here .
You can also view the video on my YouTube channel Here . Happy Stamping!!

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I hope everyone is doing well today. If you are hopping over from Akiko Sudano’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have a Sketch Challenge. Here is my card using this week’s Sketch.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Hand-Penned Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper for my card today.
Here is our sketch for this week.
I started by adhering a panel of Hand Penned DSP to a Garden Green card base. On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the outline floral image from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I adhered a Post-It note to the panel and stamped the floral image once. I flipped the panel over and adhered the Post-It note again and stamped the floral image a second time. I stamped the leaves in Garden Green Ink. I stamped the flowers in Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather and Pool Party Inks.
I embossed the panel using my Timeworn Type 3d Embossing Folder. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink on a panel of Garden Green cardstock. I immediately sprinkled it with my White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I cut the sentiment out using my Waves Dies.
I threaded White Bakers Twine through the sentiment and adhered it to the back with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a couple Brushed Brass Butterflies and a Bumblebee Trinket to the card front.
On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the outlined floral image from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the leaves in Gaden Green Ink and the flowers in Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather and Pool Party Inks. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Garden Green mat and then to the inside of the Garden Green card base.
To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the outlined floral image from the Hand Penned Petals stamp set on the envelope front in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the leaves and flowers the same as i did for the card front. I adhered a panel of Hand Penned DSP to the envelope flap.
Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through and see everyone’s projects today. If you click on the Next Blog button, you’ll go to Tara’s page. Or you can just click on the names below to go directly to all their blogs! Happy Hopping!!

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week already and on our way to the weekend. It’s supposed to be a beautiful spring day here in NJ. We’ll have to see what happens 😉
It’s time for another inspiration challenge for The Card Concepts . The inspiration photo is Vintage Style. Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the 2022-2024 In-Color 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper (available May 3) and the Brushstroke Specialty Paper (available May 3) for my Clean and Layered card. I was inspired by the flowers on the pillow and the colors from the photo.
I hope you will take a moment to visit The Card Concepts and join us for our challenge #173. How are you inspired by this photo?
I started by embossing a Soft Suede card front using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered a panel of the new 2022-2024 In-Color DSP to the card front. I adhered the card front to a Soft Suede card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I adhered a panel of the new Brushstroke Specialty Paper to a Soft Suede mat and then to the card front. On a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the stem image from the Art Gallery stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink. I stamped the solid flower image from the Art Gallery stamp set in Blushing Bride Ink on the stem. I stamped the detailed flower image from the Art Gallery stamp set in Sweet Sorbet Ink over the solid image. I cut the panel using the largest circle from the new Stylish Shapes Dies (available May 3) and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On the panel of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink and cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tied a double bow using the Very Vanilla Bakers Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack and adhered it to the stem using a Glue Dot.
On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrating You Cling Stamp Set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I stamped the smaller flower image from the Art Gallery stamp set in Blushing Bride Ink above and below the sentiment. I tore the edges of the panel and sponged them with some Soft Suede Ink. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Blushing Bride mat and then to the inside of the Soft Suede card base.
To complete my card, I decorated a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope. I stamped the flower image from the Art Gallery stamp set on the envelope front the same as I did for the card front. I adhered a panel of the 2022-2024 In-Color DSP to the envelope flap.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Some of the products used for my card today won’t be available until May 3 from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. Happy Stamping!!
