Page Text: Coronavirus Protecting Our Communities The safety of our patients, associates and physicians is our top priority. We have highly trained infection prevention practitioners who closely follow the guidelines of the CDC and the local public health department. Our hospitals manage infectious disease on a regular basis and maintain isolation rooms. Adventist Health continues to be in close contact with federal, state and local agencies to ensure that our physicians, staff and patients receive the best possible care. We have many safety protocols in place including masking, enhanced cleaning practices and visitor restrictions. In California, all hospital visitors must wear a well-fitting medical/surgical face mask upon entry and at all times within the facility and will be screened for fever and COVID-19 symptoms. Visitors will be required to provide proof of vaccination or documentation of a negative COVID test. En español. Check your hospital site for additional visitor information. If you or someone you know is experiencing symptoms of respiratory disease, we encourage you to call your primary care physician or clinic before arriving at the hospital. You can also access our symptom checker in the lower right corner of this webpage. COVID-19 vaccines Both Pfizer and Moderna two-dose vaccines have full FDA approval and meet the FDA’s rigorous standards for safety, effectiveness and manufacturing quality requirements. The CDC has strengthened its recommendation on COVID-19 booster shots. Please get vaccinated if you haven’t already to help protect yourself and those you love.
