What is a Macquarie ID?
A Macquarie ID is your unique eight-digit user ID for accessing Macquarie Online Banking and the Macquarie Mobile Banking app.
You can choose to set up a username to log into online and mobile banking instead of using your Macquarie ID. See Can I set up a username to use instead of my Macquarie ID?
I’ve forgotten my Macquarie ID. What should I do?
Your Macquarie ID is a unique eight-digit number that, along with your password, enables you to log into Macquarie Online Banking and the Macquarie Mobile Banking app.
You can retrieve your Macquarie ID on Macquarie Online Banking or the Macquarie Mobile Banking app – you'll just need your last name, date of birth and registered email address handy.
Retrieving your Macquarie ID on Macquarie Online Banking:
On macquarie.com.au , select Log in
Select Macquarie Online
Select Forgotten your Macquarie ID
Enter your last name, date of birth and registered email address. Select Submit
If the details match our records, you’ll receive an email with the details of your Macquarie ID.
Retrieving your Macquarie ID on the Macquarie Mobile Banking app:
Open the Macquarie Mobile Banking app
Select Trouble logging in?
Select Forgotten your Macquarie ID
Enter your last name, date of birth and registered email address. Select Submit
If the details match our records, you’ll receive an email with the details of your Macquarie ID.
You can log in straight away with your retrieved Macquarie ID.

I’ve forgotten my password. What should I do?
Your Macquarie ID and password enable you to log into Macquarie Online Banking and the Macquarie Mobile Banking app.
You can reset your password on Macquarie Online Banking or the Macquarie Mobile Banking app – you’ll just need your Macquarie ID and your mobile number that’s registered with us.
Changing your password on Macquarie Online Banking:
On macquarie.com.au , select Log in
Select Macquarie Online
Select Forgotten password
Enter your Macquarie ID and your mobile number. Select Submit
If you have the Macquarie Authenticator app set up you will receive a push notification which you can click to go to your Authenticator app to directly approve the request to update your password. Alternatively you can navigate to your Authenticator app to find your rolling code and enter it on the screen
If you do not have Authenticator set up, you’ll receive a one-time SMS code on your mobile. Enter the code
Create a new password.

Open the Macquarie Mobile Banking app
Select Trouble logging in?
Select Forgot your password
Enter your Macquarie ID and your mobile number. Select Submit
