The following hotels and hostels are extending a special rate and have a number of rooms set aside for OIAF 2022 participants. The rates quoted are subject to change. In addition to the quoted room rate, 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) will be added to the rooms. Be sure to mention you are with the Ottawa International Animation Festival in order to receive any special rates. The toll-free numbers may not be valid outside of North America.

Coming to Ottawa from Montreal?
It is a 2 hour trip from Montreal to Ottawa and there are 4 ways to get here. You can fly, drive, take a bus, or take the train. Buses to and from Montreal run approximately 17 times a day and the average cost is $61. VIA Rail trains run approximately 5 times a day, and prices vary.
Need public transit information?
Getting around the city is easy with OC Transpo and the O-Train! Purchase a Presto card for only $6 and load it with your fare(s) in advance. Coming in from Toronto? Your Toronto Presto cards are valid here too!
Day passes are also available for purchase and can be bought as a 1, 3, 5, or 7 day pass. The DayPass lets you ride on OC Transpo, Para Transpo and STO from the time of purchase until it expires. To ride, just tap your DayPass at the fare gate or show it to the operator as you board the bus.Having a pass will make it easy and convenient for getting to and from the OIAF venues, especially if you are staying near the LRT (O-Train) or a downtown bus route.

OC Transpo Ticket Machines can be found at all O-Train stations and the Ottawa airport has an OC Transpo Ticket Machine located on Level 1: Arrival and Baggage claim.

O-Train 1 Tunney’s Pasture will take you from the VIA railway station to downtown Ottawa and runs from early morning to late at night.
