Toronto Council Fire Native Cultural Centre is an autonomous, vibrant cultural agency that involves and serves the Indigenous community with confidence for and commitment to their well-being.
With a mandate to provide counselling, material assistance and other direct services to First Nations people as well as to encourage and enhance spiritual and personal growth.

Regent Park
Regent Park School of Music is a community music school that gives 1,000 kids a year a rich and rewarding music education, by removing the financial obstacle.
For over 22 years we have seen that the study of music allows young people to flourish creatively, personally and academically…enriching their lives and future prospects. Our students have access to some of Toronto’s best music teachers and a vast array of musical instruments and options.
Our students’ study everything from classical piano, strings, voice, brass, wind and percussion to electronic music, songwriting and recording. They make music with fellow students, RPSM faculty and even the odd celebrity and perform all over the city. We also offer countless leadership opportunities through our Youth Committee and mentorship programs and provide employment experience for junior counsellors at our summer music camps.
In addition to bringing music to kids in Regent Park and Jane Finch we are also giving a music education to Indigenous students at Wandering Spirit School and young newcomers to Canada.
We are truly grateful to many individuals, foundations, corporations and government entities for investing in our students and helping them thrive through music.

Arts Etobicoke is a not-for-profit charitable organization that focuses on improving people’s lives through the arts. We have developed an inclusive and creative community hub that is open to all people in West Toronto. We believe in providing equitable access to the arts regardless of economic or social status. Arts Etobicoke is a place where everyone can freely express their art and culture through our programs, exhibitions, workshops, events, classes, and professional development.
The Remix Project

The Remix Project was created in order to help level the playing field for young people from marginalized and under served communities. Our programs and services serve youth who are trying to enter into the creative industries or further their formal education. The Remix Project provides top-notch alternative, creative, educational programs, facilitators and facilities. Our mission is to help refine the raw talents of young people in order to help them find success as participants define it and on their own terms.

We create safe and inclusive spaces for youth and emerging artists to express themselves in a positive way. Through our Edutainment methodology, we empower performance artists to create meaningful art rooted in self knowledge and self expression. We believe art has the power to transform the lives of many youth we often see lost to the system and its streets.
Our programs provide youth with platforms to perform, learn and develop leadership skills. Our model encourages youth to dive deep into their stories while using art as a cathartic practice to explore their vulnerability and create room to best deal with their mental health
We believe safe platforms encourage self-expression and self reflection. In many cases it is an opportunity for youth to experience the power of community healing through art and vulnerability.
Long Winter
Queen West
Long Winter was created in the fall of 2012 as an initiative of the Toronto punk band Fucked Up: an all-ages, pay-what-you-can seasonal event series that would transcend the typical concert experience. A dense, eclectic mix of local musicians, visual/performance/media/installation artists, writers, and dancers would all have a chance to exhibit and perform their works alongside one another, creating a unique environment for both audience and participants.
Presenting a roster of jam-packed events from November through March each year, Long Winter cultivates an unprecedented cross-section of Toronto music communities, with a focus on DIY/underground/emerging scenes. We are committed to a presentation of diverse, cutting-edge music and art that is inclusive and exciting, with as few barriers to access as possible. Live acts from a range of genres are programmed back-to-back on multiple stages, so that audiences and subcultures are interwoven throughout the building, and emerging artists appear alongside more established names.
