We’re a family-owned business in Stafford, Brisbane and have a heritage of passion for music.
Just like you, we’ve spent our lives living and breathing music. And if you’re just getting started, we’ve gone through that too. The struggles of learning something new, being overwhelmed by information, and not knowing where to get started.
That’s why we’re here to guide you.
We’re a small music store operated by the two sons and granddaughter of John Morris, the original founder of Queensland’s most famous music store, Australian Academy of Music in 1967. We continue the proud family heritage and passion for involving people of all ages in music, all proudly born and living in Brisbane.
