Page Text: EVENT SAFETY.
The world has changed. But we don’t have to tell YOU that. And live events are changing with it. We’re making it safer and more intimate while creating more space and keeping the same excitement and togetherness that guests have come to expect from a visit to the cinemas. In accordance with all current Alberta Health guidelines, the Edmonton International Film Festival is committed to delivering a safe experience for everyone in attendance. All attendees will be asked to adhere to the health and safety guidelines that we’ve developed, along with public health requirements so that we can all safely share in one of the most memorable events in the city each year.
A negative PCR test completed within 72 hours (must be privately paid, and cannot come from Alberta Health Services or Alberta Precision Laboratories), or medical documentation showing proof of vaccine-exemption may be provided in lieu of proof of vaccination. No other exemptions will be given, and any form of abuse of staff, volunteers, or other patrons will not be tolerated.
PROOF OF VACCINATION INCLUDES:
- Alberta MyHealth Records vaccination card
- Alberta MyHealth Records online records (screenshot, .pdf, or logged-in)
- A photo of your paper vaccination records (Must be legible, and must include name and date of birth)
- Other paper vaccination records (print-out of Alberta MyHealth Records, original/photocopied vaccination documents)
