Under the Alper Family Foundation as a Grantor:
Funds from the Foundation are used to support seed capital for personnel to launch a Teach to Work Mentor Program
Benchmarks are outlined for a Year One Pilot Program to include:
Three business partners to provide mentors
Six to ten visiting mentors
Two to three participating professors who utilize projects as part of classroom assignments
Post-student questionnaires and evaluations
Resourcing of designated staff
For a few select community colleges that are expanding their diversity and inclusion support, the Alper Family Foundation may provide seed money for Teach to Work Mentorship Programs. Funds are made available to support personnel, administration, and logistics for this mentorship model.
