We live and breathe this stuff, and we’re in it up to our elbows. As we work with our own social media management clients and teach people who want to become social media managers, we have identified a number of core competency skills that define a performance standard for this position.

When the matrix was created, Pinterest was not yet a major force in social media marketing. Since then, we have discovered how effective Pinterest can be as a tool for finding (and selling!) things people didn’t know they wanted until they saw them. We will add Pinterest and Pinterest analytics in the next edition of the matrix.

Registration for the next session of the Social Media Management Certificate program is open. Classes start in September, 2021.
The class is being taught over Zoom, so bring a friend from outside the area! We’ve had students from all over the United States.
