Page Text: About us The Tech Council of Australia is the peak body representing Australia's tech sector. We represent companies throughout their life cycle, from early and growth stage companies through to large-scale global firms. We also represent firms in the broader tech ecosystem, including venture capitalists, advisers and tech-enabled business outside the tech sector. The Tech Council has taken on the responsibilities of StartupAUS, and will continue to advocate strongly for the interests of early and growth-stage technology businesses as a core part of its remit. Research: We undertake unique, data-driven research into the impact of the tech sector, and key issues impacting it Engagement: As the unified voice for the sector, we bring government decision-makers and industry together to engage on the role, value and benefits of the tech sector to Australia
