Page Text: and see how Marmalead helped her boost sales and increase one listing's views by 500% and see how Marmalead helped her boost sales and increase one listing's views by 500% Rosaleen from Wish Charms shares with us her amazing story of how she started her Etsy shop way back in 2005 when Etsy was founded. Read on to know how she uses Marmalead to turn previously less active items into best sellers! We hope it inspires and motivates you as much as it did for us when we read it! My name is Rosaleen Carter. I live in England and run an Etsy store called Wish Charms. I sell wish bracelets, delicate sterling silver stars knotted onto waxed cotton cord and set against a meaning card. The recipient makes a wish as they tie on their bracelet. Once tied, it's tradition to keep it on their wrist. When the bracelet falls away, it is believed their wish will come true! I love the whimsical concept of a wish bracelet and how meaningful a gift it can make from one friend or family member to another. My Wish Charms bring hope, when glimpsed on the wrist they can help carry the wearer through hard times or as a reminder of a personal affirmation, wish or goal. I became aware of Etsy the first year it began in 2005 and became fascinated with the idea of selling online. I taught myself to lino print using linoleum and went on to open my first fledgling Etsy store known as Paper Jam selling linocut prints. I kept my Etsy store open for six months and made 50 sales during that time. I adored the community and how cosy it felt selling on Etsy. I'd recently had my first baby in May 2005 and lino printing in my lunch hour and looking after a young baby became too unmanageable for me so I made the decision to close my first Etsy store and focus on bringing up my baby girl and growing our family. By February 2014 with two school aged children, I longed to open another Etsy store and really embrace on-line selling. Since then I've had over 4,410 sales. I discovered Marmalead while on holiday in Portugal in August 2016 through watching Jenni Waldrop-Dortch from Fuzzy and Birch make a live recording with the guys from Marmalead. At the beginning of November I decided I wanted to grow my Etsy sales even further looking forward into 2017 and signed up to Marmalead to help me. I've had immediate success through using the new storm feature and the keyword search inside the monthly paid version of Marmalead. I've adjusted several listings so far and have seen great results. One of my Wish Charms with the quote 'Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air' only sold once in the 30 days before I used Marmalead to change the title and tags and had just 72 views. In the four weeks since making the title and tag changes the same listing has had 267 views and has sold 18 times! Another listing for my pregnancy bracelet with the quote 'You need chaos in your soul to give birth to a dancing star' sold 0 times in the previous 30 days with only 63 views before I used Marmalead to adjust the titles and tags. In the following 30 days the figures jumped to 320 views with 11 sales! Before joining Marmalead I hadn't touched my titles in 2 1/2 years since opening Wish Charms, so this made me realize what a truly powerful tool Marmalead is. I am really excited about using it daily to adjust and then track any listings which currently aren't selling well and to create brand new listings in 2017!
