Masterclasses / Guest Artist
As a Jazz artist and a commercial musician, I design my Masterclasses to the specifics of the program, the students, and the people I get to collaborate with. Each Masterclass targets improvisation, ensemble playing, music business (do’s, don’ts and sustainability), and the importance of music today as a social awareness piece. I work closely with the director to create a meaningful concert (or series) that will represent the program and its students on a high level.

Clinics
As an educator and clinician for the last twenty years, I have worked with music programs nationally and internationally. Each program I have worked with has ranged from middle school to high school and collegiate. I strive to bring my career experiences as an artist and a former member of the Count Basie Orchestra to the classroom to help young minds improve on their foundation as musicians and people.
