Page Text: Cockney Robin Cockney Robin is not actually called "Robin."   He is also not technically a cockney, not having been born within the sound of the Bow Bells . But he has spent years perfecting his accent and on mastering cockney rhyming slang .  He is, at best, a mockney ---of sorts. He chose the name because Damozel, this blog's official worrier, said "Cock Robin"--- after a poem believed to have been inspired by the death of Robin Hood --- might be construed as rude. Some call him "eccentric."  He prefers "unique."  Though he has no expertise in politics, it is one area of life that he has closely observed for some time.
