Returning students are students who were formerly enrolled at Stanislaus State and wish to return to complete their undergraduate degree after an absence of one or more terms. There are two types of returning undergraduate students: Returning students who have been absent LESS than 3 years (6 academic semesters) Undergraduate students who have been gone LESS than 3 years may request to re-enroll by submitting a request to re-enroll form by the specified deadlines. The Admissions and Outreach Services Office will review your request, and a decision will be communicated to you by email. *Students who enrolled at another institution during their absence from Stanislaus State must submit official transcripts from each institution attended. Request to Re-enroll Deadline Request to re-enroll form Returning students who have been absent MORE than 3 years (6 academic semesters) Undergraduate students who wish to return to Stanislaus State after an absence of MORE than 3 years must reapply for admission. Applications should be submitted during the regular application filing period (Dec. 15, 2021- Feb. 4, 2022 for fall 2022 entry or August 1 – December 1, 2021 for spring 2022 entry, if applicable). Students who missed the application filing period may request permission to submit a late application by the specified deadlines. *Students who enrolled at another institution during their absence from Stanislaus State must submit official transcripts from each institution attended. Request to Submit a Late Application Deadline Fall 2021: June 30, 2021 Spring 2022: December 10, 2021 Request to submit a late application form Application Instructions As a returning student, coursework that was taken at Stanislaus State or transfer courses previously submitted via transcript do not have to be entered on the Cal State Apply application. Any transferable coursework completed after last attending Stanislaus State should be reported in the application and submitted officially via transcript. Returning after Disqualification Academic Disqualification (due to GPA) Students must reapply following established admission  dates and deadlines . Please note by when your reinstatement must be completed based on the term you have applied for: Fall 2022 reinstatement deadline: June 10, 2022 Registration Information You may be eligible for a Priority Registration Appointment based on the date you submit a request to re-enroll or the date you accept your admission and pay the enrollment deposit (if applicable). To be considered for a Priority Registration Appointment, please submit a request to re-enroll or accept your admission and pay your enrollment deposit (if applicable) by the dates below. Deadline for Priority Registration • Fall: March 24 • Spring: October 1 If you do not meet the priority registration deadline, you will be eligible to enroll during open registration. Registration periods are listed in the Class Schedule .
