Visitor Information
Queen's is located in the city of Kingston , Ontario, Canada, half-way between Montreal and Toronto, two of Canada's largest cities. Kingston is situated on the shores of Lake Ontario, near the entrance to the St. Lawrence River and Thousand Islands , and the Rideau Canal .
The best way to get to know Queen’s is by coming to visit. Explore our historic buildings, attend cultural events, and spend some time in our distinguished museums, archives, and galleries.

Visitor and Information Centre
Run by the Alma Mater Society and staffed by students, the Visitor and Information Centre has campus maps on hand, as well as literature about Queen’s and Kingston, including Kingston bus schedules , and 1000 Islands Cruise schedules.

At the main Union Street entrance of the John Deutsch University Centre
Regular Hours of Operation
Seven days a week – 9 am to midnight
Also open through some holidays, including Thanksgiving, Easter, and Family Day. Please call ahead to confirm.
Summer Hours
Monday to Friday – 9 am to 5 pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10 am to 4 pm
