Our mission is to promote a love of reading and improve literacy outcomes for children in Australia.
We run four programs that provide brand new books to children in priority locations in Australia. We support children who have little or no access to good books; our programs restock priority primary school libraries, community centres, hospitals, classrooms and provide books for children to take home and cherish. We also partner with other non-profit organisations, to reach the most vulnerable children in society. We want to ensure more children have access to good books so they can do well in school and lead healthier and happier lives. We believe all children should have the tools they need to thrive, regardless of their circumstances.
To date, we have provided over 209,000 brand new books to over 152,000 children in 653 locations around Australia. In the 2021 financial year alone, we provided over $1,024,000 worth of books!
