Page Text: Blog Posting and Commenting Policy Oy Bay is a forum for free expression and the exchange of ideas. The views expressed by those who comment are not the views of Oy Bay and belong solely to their authors. It is the opinion of Oy Bay that a healthier blog community develops when people can trust that their voice will be heard. We feel that censoring comments in any way, shape, or form leads to bad feelings and mistrust. Oy Bay will only censor comments in extreme circumstances. If we do, we will openly state that we have done so and why. As a Jewish blog we are not just concerned about legal matters, but also take into consideration Jewish ethics. Such as the principle of Lashon Hara, the evil tongue. It is expected that those who interact on Oy Bay will be respectful and considerate of other participants, in line with these values. I may attack a certain point of view which I consider false, but I will never attack a person who preaches it. I have always a high regard for the individual who is honest and moral, even when I am not in agreement with him. Such a relation is in accord with the concept of kavod habriyot, for beloved is man for he is created in the image of G-d. —Rav Joseph Soloveitchik Just as Rav Soloveitchik said please do not engage in ad hominem attacks but rather argue the points.
