The consistency and fast turn around is something that our business relies on which is why we always choose to use Sarah and never hesitate to recommend her." - Jacob McGoldrick, Soothe Organics Frequently asked questions How much does a website cost? A one-pager simple website with a couple of photos, a brief blurb about you or your business and contact details will be your most affordable option to get online. We are of course happy to build any size of website, from short and sweet to large sites with 8-10+ pages and more special features. To give you an accurate quote, we need a few more details of what you want us to design. Please fill out our  online quote form and we’ll email you a no-obligation price! In addition to our website design one-off cost, you must also purchase a domain name and order a web hosting plan. This is an on-going cost, a ballpark figure for a year is roughly $250-$300 for quality web hosting. Castle Design recommends the Australian company Digital Pacific or WP Engine. It is your web site so ultimately, you need to be happy with the look and design of it! After we have collected all the information from you, including your ideas on how you like the website to look, we will get to work. During this time, you just need to put your feet up and relax! Once we have a complete website ready, we will send it to you for a first look & review. After receiving your feedback, we will make any necessary changes and send it back to you again for another review. We will continue this process until you are 100% satisfied with your web site! Just bear in mind that we’re straight shooters and won’t muck around. We believe in honest, up-front communication and we will share our professional opinion if we believe any suggested changes will result in an inferior look or function of the final web site. How long will it take? This depends on how quickly you as a client can provide us with all the content and images required for your new website. Once we have received all your information, we aim to finish the new website within 4-6 weeks. Can you help me update my existing website that another web firm built? Yes of course! We offer revamp packages, please fill out our  online quote form . For any updates of existing sites, we will need the log in details to your web hosting cPanel account and also your current website logins. Can you help me source photos for my website? Sure can do! Good quality photos that are relevant to your business/message are an essential part of a website. If you don’t have your own, we can source generic stock photos at an additional cost. Make sure to mention this when you  submit our no-obligation online quote form. Do you offer support once the website is finished? All Castle Design new website projects include a 14-day post-handover support period. During this time, we recommend you familiarize yourself with your new website and learn how to log in and navigate the backend system. We are ready for all questions and no question is a silly one! After the 14-day free support period, our normal hourly rates ($80/h) apply. We recommend all web site owners to regularly log in and apply security updates and install new version of software and plugins used on the web site. This is to keep the site secure from intruders and functional, there’s nothing worse losing business due to an old or broken website! If you don’t have the time or know how to do this yourself, we recommend signing up for a monthly website maintenance package with the friendly team over at  WP Co-Pilot .
