What's the process? I'm thinking I might be over my depression but still have anxiety (doc thinks anxiety disorder) recoveryandmentalhealth Answer: anon: I was wondering, what would happen if I asked my psychologist for a re assessment regarding my diagnosis? —————————————————————- We’ve had several asks about this question. Sorry it took so long to get to. I had no idea, and google proved to be no help, so I asked the lovely people at mental-health-advice   for some help. Here’s what Alexandria had to say: “The way you’d go about it is by speaking to your doctor, or the person who first diagnosed you. Simply let them know that you don’t agree with the diagnosis, and let them know why. They will then follow the same procedure as the did during the first assessment, except may ask a range of different questions to try to determine what the diagnosis is.” I hope this works out for you, and if not, you can send in another question, and I’ll try to get it answered. -Elliot
