Page Text: These pages are devoted to the bicycles made by the Ariel Works at their Bournbrook/Selly Oak factory from 1896 to 1932. More famous for their motorcycles, the cycles were nevertheless an important part of the factory. They were sold under the 'Ariel', 'Fleet', 'Mercury' and 'Connaught' marques. Site history: 27th October 2016 Updated the signs page with additional signs. 6th September 2016 Created new Marques page to include other makes Ariel made bicycles for. 5th September 2016 Updated links page with new Tornado Smith link. 5th September 2016 Added new photographs . 5th September 2016 Updated contact page . 3rd January 2014 Added a new page on Components Skates . 25th April 2012 Added a postcard of Arford in Hampshire with an Ariel sign outside a cycle shop. 29th February 2012. Added an ordinary share certificate to the Documents page. 29th February 2012 Added a postcard of the factory to the Postcards page. 28th February 2012 Added another Footscray Ariel . 28th February 2012 Added new info to J.W.Stocks page. 26th February 2012 Corrected my 1916 Gents Ariel page - BSA gears.
