Zelensky warns 'we must prepare' for Russian nuclear attack and urges the world to stock up on anti-radiation medicine and build air raid shelters - as Kremlin exacts flagship revenge by bombarding EIGHT Ukrainian towns
Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky urged the world to 'prepare' for Russian nuclear attacks by stocking up on anti-radiation medicine and constructing air raid shelters during a TV interview on Saturday. The comedian-turned-war time leader made a similar appeal on Friday, when he said it could not be ruled out that warring Russian dictator Vladimir Putin would use tactical nukes, as his war against Ukraine continues to stall. Zelensky said tonight: 'We shouldn't wait for the moment when Russia decides to use nuclear weapons. We must prepare for that.' He added that the Russians 'can use any weapon, I'm convinced of it'. Russia's invasion, which began in late February, has already brought fears of a nuclear accident, after Russian troops seized and then later abandoned the Chernobyl nuclear plant, while just this week it is feared nuclear missiles may have been onboard the Russian Moskva ship when it was sunk by Ukraine.
