Page Text: Home » Transparency Transparency We’re accountable to our donors.  We’re accountable to the children and families we serve (and yes, we’re accountable to the IRS and State of Florida!).  But ultimately and most importantly, we’re accountable to God. The Lion of Judah Ministries works hard to be a wise and faithful steward of the resources entrusted to it, and to be fully transparent.  Each year our financial records are either audited or reviewed by a certified public accountant.  In fact, that is typically the largest single annual administrative expense we have!  All our U.S. staff, board members, and other workers are volunteers.  In other words, we pay no salaries in the U.S. (of course the teachers, staff and workers at the school in Tanzania are paid). 100% Of Your Donations Go To The Lion of Judah Academy in Tanzania!  — Our “overhead” expenses, including expenses related to fundraising, are generally between 1.5% and 3.0% of the total contributions we receive.  However, those costs are all paid through contributions designated specifically for the purpose of administrative costs.  For that reason, we can guarantee that 100% of your contributions will go directly to the Lion of Judah Academy in Tanzania.  During 2016 our overhead expenses — including fund-raising expenses — were 1.5%, all of which were paid from contributions specifically for that purpose. We take this extremely seriously, so we encourage you to contact us with regard to any questions you may have about the Ministry’s use of funds We are proud to have earned the Guidestar Gold Seal of Transparency
