It serves both NSF staff and visitors. The Reception and Information Center fields a variety of inquiries by telephone and by e-mail regarding NSF program information, vacancy information, staff, meeting schedules, and information regarding location of operational and program guidelines. In many cases, the Center is able to respond directly with the answer. When they do not have the answer themselves, the Center serves as a referral service to the relevant NSF Office or other information resource.
