Page Text: A videographer (video is where we go next). Retouch artists Freelance models, image masking professionals, and technicians Where are we based? Generated Media, Inc. is a fully distributed company (incorporated in the USA). We have been remote-first from day one and now have employees representing six countries and counting! Where can i reach you? Contact us anytime at work.with@generated.photos . Products How are generated photos made? We have built a proprietary dataset by taking tens of thousands of images of people in our studio. These photos are taken in a controlled environment allowing us to make sure that each face has consistent look and quality. After shooting, photos are tagged, categorized, and added to a dataset that is used for machine learning training. In an on-going fashion we feed this dataset into generative adversarial networks to produce faces that have never existed. Further machine learning processes take place after the faces are created in order to identify and remove flawed faces. The final results are made available through our website or API integration. ‘I’m concerned {…} people aren’t represented well enough’ We fully agree and are actively working on this! Our goal is to represent every person regardless of age, sex, ethnicity, or physical characteristics. The reality of generating consistent content with AI is that training data needs to be available for our systems to learn from. This requires sourcing a large number of models and takes time. After running a studio for the last 2 years, we have learned it can be difficult to find diverse models with unique features that are also willing to shoot stock photography. This is not a challenge will are backing down from. We ask for your patience and understanding as we continue to expand our capabilities. We are fascinated by the range of personalities we have captured so far and will continue to expand this going forward. How can photos be used? Bulk download requests - One-time downloads of images. Images can be kept forever. *Single download and subscription plans will be available in the near future! If you have any questions about product offerings we would be happy to assist you at work.with@generated.photos. Where can Generated Photos be used? Our images can be used for anything, as long as that use does not violate our usage agreement. Namely you can not use our photos to conduct any sort of illegal activity, such as defamation, impersonation, or fraud. Many people have found our images useful for education, training, game development, and even dating apps ! Verification of authenticity We understand there are concerns about how products created by AI may be misused. Generated Photos will not produce documentary photography or video. We believe news footage, family photos, photos from crime scenes, or other protected use cases must be kept strictly documental. Generative media must be kept independent from documentary media. We are encouraged to see that multiple companies are currently building technology that certifies authenticity — a rubber stamp analog for the 21st century. © 2022 Generated Media, Inc.
