Dr Alexandra Knight is a social researcher and ecologist whose research is interdisciplinary. Alexandra focusses on building environmental planning and biodiversity research programs with the community. She investigates how new knowledge can be successfully utilised to build a more sustainable society and protect the natural world.
Dr Amy MacDonald
School of Education
Dr Amy MacDonald is a Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Mathematics Education and an ARC DECRA Fellow for 2018-2020. Her DECRA project is examining mathematics education for children aged under three years by examining the beliefs and practices of the educators who work with these children. She is also currently leading a number of STEM-focused research projects, including the evaluation of the federally-funded ‘Little Scientists’ early years STEM program.
