Page Text: Love this podcast, professionally produced and full of info jptiger Mar 11 2021 I was pretty skeptical about listening to one man talk about history. But I'm so glad I gave it a shot. Mike as an excellent storyteller who is acutely aware of what usually makes history boring and surgically removes that from his episodes. If you're deciding between this and his History of Time podcast, I'd start here where he's already hit his stride. You can always go back to Rome once you've decided this is for you. He endlessly employs the set up of "and then the so&so set up for the such&such---failed to do the such&such, or so&so," yknow what I mean? It gets old.
