Page Text: Looking for environments to confront your moral ambivalence? Try these on for size. (Warning: adults only for some of the first batch below.) UPDATE in progress. Stay tuned. Naughty GrrrGraphics - Ben Garrison's over-the-top political cartoons must be seen to be believed. Spain Rodriguez - This ought to go under the Art heading, but the erotic quotient lands it here. One of the comix greats, Spain is sadly no longer with us, at least physically. But for now, his site and art live on. The Realist Archive Project - Holy smokes! Scans of the complete run of Paul Krassner's groundbreaking underground magazine, The Realist, are now online. Peak Stupidity - It's kind of like the Peak Oil theory applied to social and political stupidity, except that stupidity appears to be in endless supply. Literotica - Colossal archive of amateur-written erotic stories in 30+ categories. Writers continue to add stories daily, but the rest of the site seems to be on auto-pilot. A true mystery. HonestErotica - Extremely well-done and tasteful site spotlighting the finest erotic illustrators both from the 18th-20th centuries and the present. Nice Grand Lodge of California - Ignore the conspiracy theories. Freemasonry is a great fraternal organization, worthy of investigation. Here's one place to begin. And here's the outstanding Grand Lodge of British Columbia and Yukon website. An incredible collection of info. Featherbed - Laura Park's Flickr site featuring her fabulous art. Go there. Now. (Laura's been fighting thyroid cancer, so there may be gaps between posts.) Magazine Art - Great collection of cover scans from American magazines of the past. Digital Comics Museum and Comic Book+ - Marvelous archives of scans of Golden Age comics that have become public domain. A dedicated crew of collectors and scanners have made these two sites absolute treasure troves of vintage comic art. All volunteer, all free. The Doctor is a fan. Areo Magazine - Relatively new online magazine of wide-ranging cultural criticism and analysis from diverse perspectives. Some great contrarian essays. Quillette - Intelligent writers tackling difficult subjects from both left and right perspectives and beyond. Doug Adams's AppleScripts for iTunes - If you use iTunes on a Mac or other Apple devices, these little scripts and apps make life much easier. There are literally hundreds of them and they are either free or extremely inexpensive. A real niche service. Now that Apple has phased out iTunes, the new scripts are shifting over to Apple Music, etc. Still worth a look.
