Page Text: Since the late 1970s, Mike Flugennock has produced nearly 500 political cartoons and posters that have been the favorite of popular movements ranging from those opposing war in Iraq and Afghanistan to globalization, Palestinian solidarity, Occupy, Black Lives Matter and others, such as the recent legalization of home cultivated marijuana in Washington, DC. His work first appeared in the old Yipster Times in 1978; he has served on the editorial board of the DC Independent Media Center, illustrated the cover of The Progressive magazine, and has been featured in the Washington Post and Washington City Paper Arts section for his art promoting mass protests. >C'mon in and enjoy! contents ©2022 Mike Flugennock.
