Our Founder
Fred Liuzzi was born in a small town in Puglia Italy. Migrating to Australia when he was 18 years old. Fred flourished as he immersed himself into the opportunities of a new country.
His first major venture was in the hospitality industry, which enhanced his brilliant business mind, earning him great respect within the industry. His success enabled him to diversify by investing in property and development with his likeminded business associates. Before long, property became his core business and these partnerships grew into long standing relationships.
Dedicated to his community, Fred was involved with many charitable groups including hospitals, sporting clubs and medical charities. He also worked diligently to assist the Italian community in Australia by supporting Italian social Clubs, The CO.AS.IT Community Services, and The Assisi Aged Care Facility.
He was recognised for his contribution to the Italian community when he was awarded the Officer Order of Merit of the Republic of Italy and the Premio Puglia, from his region of birth.
In 2010, Fred sadly passed away from a rare neuromuscular disease. The lack of medical understanding around the disease and its progression inspired the family to establish The Fred Liuzzi Foundation in his honour.
Fred’s family were the motivation for all his endeavours. His encouragement guided them to be hardworking, humble and grateful for life’s blessings.
His legacy lives on in the heart of the organisation.
