Hello, I’m Tammy!
I split my time between the snowy mountains of Salt Lake City, UT and the sandy beaches of Orange County, CA with my husband, our two kids and our cute furballs Jack and Sam. I LOVE everything related to design and travel. And by everything, I mean designing homes, parties, pretty meals, outfits, flowers, cakes...you name it! Travel is where I often find my design inspiration. Visiting beautiful places, seeing unique architecture, stunning landscapes, being exposed to new textiles and building materials, eating new foods...it pushes me to try new things creatively and see things through different eyes, so I love to get out and explore this amazing world we live in!
If there’s one thing I love more than design and travel, it’s having this fun place to share all of the things I find and make and do. Pink Peppermint Design started as a personal blog back in 2006 when I barely knew what I was doing, I just knew I wanted a place to build a community. The blog has evolved over the years along with me. Readers come to Pink Peppermint Design to find design inspiration - everything from major renovation projects to paint color suggestions, tips for organizing, the latest in home decor products and trends. Entertainers will find fun party styling tips and ideas, delicious recipes and party decor. DIYers love the articles on home projects and craft tutorials and those with a serious case of wanderlust...well, you’ll find lots of beautiful pictures of far away places and the best tips on where to stay, what to eat and places to visit. I am so glad you’re here and hope that you find something to inspire you! 🙂
