We are continually frustrated by our government’s lack of significant action on climate change. Our future is dependent on the government to make policy changes that encourage and accelerate a move to a more sustainable and carbon-neutral future. Instead, we see a government that delays change, avoids making climate commitments, and spreads misinformation.
We believe our best chance to make significant change is to have more independent politicians who believe in science, stand up to the vested interests, and hold the government accountable.
Climate 200 uses your donations to help fund these great independent candidates, allowing them to run competitive campaigns against the well-funded major parties.
We are very excited to support Climate 200 and strongly agree with their goals for action on climate, integrity, and diversity. Climate 200 only accepts donations from Australian citizens, permanent residents and Australian companies. Climate 200 is required to disclose the name and address of any person or entity that makes donations above the $14,500 disclosure threshold (this financial year) to the Australian Electoral Commission.
