Page Text: Falls Church Chamber of Commerce Anti-Discrimination Statement July 14, 2020 – Falls Church, Virginia We at the Falls Church Chamber of Commerce understand that we are in a pivotal moment in our society that calls for strong antiracism efforts. Together, we will join other voices working toward social justice for the betterment of our citizens, our community, and our country. Falls Church Chamber of Commerce Statement Condemning Asian-American Violence March 29, 2021 - Falls Church, Virginia The Falls Church Chamber of Commerce stands in solidarity with the local business community in condemning words and violent acts of bigotry targeting Asian members of our community as well as our nation more broadly.  As these repulsive and all-too-often tragic incidents have become more prevalent over the past year, it becomes incumbent upon us to raise awareness and encourage the greater community to lend its support. The Falls Church Chamber of Commerce joins the Eden Center in its call to all segments of American populations including businesses, academic institutions, religious groups, non-profits, local, regional and national governments, and all who believe in the shared values of a civil society, to denounce harassment and hostility against Asian Americans. We encourage all area residents to find ways to support the local Asian community, particularly at this time when the feeling of marginalization is especially acute for many of our neighbors.  The Falls Church Chamber remains dedicated to diversity and inclusion in all aspects of public life, seeking to build a community where all people can live with dignity and thrive.
