I have been involved with the transport industry for more than 30 years, and to me it’s more than a job – it’s a passion. Having been a partner in an owner/driver business, a manager of a small transport fleet, and working in compliance and safety, I have dealt with many different insurers.
I come from grass roots transport and understand what keeps operators awake at night and how to keep their minds at ease. That is why I always consider the needs of any clients or potential clients before working to find the right insurance solution for them or their business. While transport is my speciality, insurance is my profession – I can also provide you a suitable solution for your personal or business insurance needs too.

I live and breathe the transport industry. Whether it be maintenance, operating or training and development. I have worked as a driver, owner/driver and manager for a large private transport company. Today, while bringing a wealth of operational knowledge to our clients, I also work for the Mack Volvo UD Manufacturer and consult on a range of issues within the transport industry.

Growing up around the transport and insurance industries, it was only time before I joined the business working at MBM Insurance Solutions. After assisting in the office for many years, I decided to complete my insurance studies while continuing to study a Bachelor of Business. With a background in customer service, I pride myself on building relationships with clients through commitment, loyalty and integrity.

Having grown up with parents who were passionate about improving the reputation and standards of the transport industry, transport was always talked about at the dinner table. At university it was only natural to study business focusing on human resource management and with additional studies in supply chain management and small business.
My first job out of university was working for mid-size brokerage, looking after claims for all lines of insurance. Eventually this led me onto assisting a book of clients and negotiating with insurers to find coverage at a price that met suitable risk exposures. Following on from this, I was able to further satisfy my interests in the transport industry, by gaining experience as a marine underwriter.
