My Name is Kriesi and I design and develop WordPress Themes on Themeforest . Along with my team I try to offer the best experience possible for our customers. Since the business is running well we got a vacant position for a frontend Developer/Designer.
Job Details
First of all: this is a fulltime freelance gig. You can choose when and were to work from, but the time exposure should be similar to a 9-5 Job.
Your typical workday will include improving and polishing our existing themes, refining currently available elements and also creating new stylesheets that alter the appearance of some of those themes completely. Think of it as CSS-Zen Garden for our themes 🙂
You will mostly create new niche theme demos for our most popular theme “Enfold”. This includes research on the niche, collecting images, setting up a proper theme demo and develop new styles for existing elements to fit the new demo. Note: The best way to land this gig is to show us what you can do with Enfold, so best case scenario is: you build a unique one page demo with our theme. Something that is not based on our existing demos 😉
Your Skills
You are very comfortable coding modern HTML & CSS
You are very good with designing in Photoshop
You have a good eye for details and can adapt to current design trends
You have used Firebug, Chromes Debugging Console, Operas Dragonfly or a similar tool for web development before
Payment
Yes it’s a paid gig, after all you need to feed your cat and pay your rent, I guess? If you apply, make sure to let me know your expected monthly salary in US Dollar ($) or Euro (€). Just remember, I’m looking for the equivalent of a full-time employee’s hours and you can work from anywhere 😉
