Advertisement 12 pieces of hard-boiled eggs, peeled 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise 1½ tablespoon of yellow mustard 1 dill pickle, finely chopped 1 tablespoon of prepared horseradish, or to taste 1 teaspoon of pickle juice Salt, to taste Ground black pepper, to taste 1 carrot, cut into rounds 12 slices of canned black olives, or as needed Directions: Step 1 Place the eggs in a pot filled with water, then let them boil for about 9 minutes or until the yolk becomes very firm. Transfer and submerge the eggs in cool water so that you can peel them easier. Next, carefully peel the boiled eggs making sure to not ruin or chip the egg itself. Then, slice through the upper 1/3 of each egg in a sideways zigzag cut to create pointy edges, make sure that some of the yolks are included in the slice.
