Due to the restrictions of COVID-19 the Wellington Caves is unable to undertake its usual volume of tours. To avoid any customer disappointment it will not be included in the Great Big Adventure Pass, until such time as it is able to operate to the degree that is reflective of its true visitor experience and customers can feel assured of tour availability.
The Pass price has been reduced to reflect the removal of the Wellington Caves entry and still provides the amazing 20% discount across 3 exciting attractions, ensuring that planning your next holiday to the Dubbo Region is easy and packed full of fun, adventure and discovery. The Wellington Caves will return to limited operations from 1st November and as an interim measure Great Big Adventure Pass purchasers will receive a 20% discount code along with their Pass tickets that can be used when buying Caves tour tickets until the Caves return to their full tour schedule.
Once the COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted to a degree that the Wellington Caves can operate more regular caves tour groups, they will be readmitted to the Pass and will gladly welcome Pass holders to the amazing caves systems of Wellington.

When you purchase a Great Big Adventure Pass don’t forget you still need to book your visit with Taronga Western Plains Zoo to ensure they have availability on your preferred date. Visit https://taronga.org.au/buy-tickets and select Dubbo. Once on the page where ticket selection and date choice is located, here you need to register how many people and the date you plan to attend. At the bottom of the page, there is a box to add a promotional code, you will receive this code in your Great Big Adventure Pass ticket email.
Once you fill out the remainder of your details (name, phone number, email address), you will be sent a confirmation email from Taronga.
When you arrive at the zoo for your visit, you will have to have provide proof of not only your Great Big Adventure Pass ticket, but also the confirmation email from Taronga. If you cannot provide both, you cannot enter.
