Bushfire Relief
The Daily Telegraph, Herald Sun, The Courier-Mail, The Advertiser and The Weekly Times dedicated a week of coverage to the bushfires under the ‘Australia Unites’ campaign, with one day of newspaper and advertising sales donated to News Corp Australia’s bushfire appeal. News Corp Australia has so far donated $1.9 million to bushfire-affected regions across the nation.

Shine Awards is a partnership between The Weekly Times and Harvey Norman to celebrate the achievements of the passionate women working across rural and regional Australia. The program is about discovering and sharing the stories of these women through the pages of The Weekly Times in six categories - Vision, Dedication, Spirit, Belief, Grace and Courage.

Fox Sports has partnered with the Clontarf Foundation, an organisation dedicated to improving the lives of young indigenous men, to produce promotional reels, provide training, offer tours and live audience experiences for the boys, provide work experience opportunities, support with events, and create business networking opportunities to expand their operations.

Feed Appeal
Feed Appeal began as Feed Melbourne in 2009 and has grown from a small campaign by the Maroondah Leader in Victoria to raise money for a local food relief charity that could not keep up with the demand for food to last year, raising over $1 million for food relief charities across the nation with the support of News Corp Australia.

Scores of inspirational Australians are nominated each year by their community for a Pride of Australia medal. Developed by not-for-profit Infoxchange in partnership with News Corp Australia, REA Group and Google, Ask Izzy is a free online directory helping people search for more than 350,000 services across Australia including food, shelter and counseling. There have been more than 2.4 million searches on the site since it was first launched in 2016.

To inspire the next generation of readers through the power of news, News Corp Australia launched a free national news site - Kids News, which offers students and teachers a valuable literacy tool for the classroom, helping to improve children's general knowledge and thirst for information, and teaching them the importance of relying on a trusted news source.

Good Friday Appeal
The Good Friday Appeal started in 1931 by a group of sports journalists from The Sporting Globe hosting a carnival to raise money for sick children. Despite the challenges of this year, the Appeal raised a record $18.2 million after the Premier of Victoria topped up what was raised by the community, taking the total raised to $381 million over 89 years.

Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) has explored DNA sequencing, vaccines to prevent debilitating illness and breakthrough treatments for allergies to name a few since its inception in 1986. Our role is to help share the story of the MCRI with a wider audience, growing national awareness and building the profile of Australia’s most respected medical research institution.

Staff Donations Fund
Many employees across our company have a personal connection with a charity or not-for-profit group. Our staff donate their time, some their money and others volunteer for a worthy cause. Since its inception in 2015, our staff donations fund has donated over $400,000 in grants to charities our staff support.
