Page Text: Hi there. I’m Helen and this is a little bit about me! I am a creative geek through and through. Possibly not always the best (I’m terrible at knitting) but I’ve definitely always been enthusiastic. As a kid you’d find me at the kitchen table with my favourite pens drawing for hours on end, occasionally stopping to play musical instruments, or doing a cross-stitch. We’re talking a serious level of geek here! I was never the very best at painting or best at playing music, but it made my heart happy and my mum proud. Which as child is all that matters in my book. With my passion for drawing and sewing I went to uni and then onto a career in fashion design. Again, never quite the best, definitely never cool enough, but good enough to work for a couple of internationally known luxury brands as well as high-street brands for almost 2 decades. My life changed in 2015 I picked up a camera. Oh my goodness, it is everything! I had finally found my thing. Not something that I’m quite good at, or like quite a lot. Something wonderful that I’m truly passionate about, and can create amazing art with. Photography is everything! I use all my industry knowledge of colour, composition, balance and aesthetics to create a beautiful image for you. I can make you feel at ease with my calm, slightly geeky, friendly personality so that we can create some truly emotive images that have meaning for you. I can create the very best images and customer experience for you. Give me the wild children… ......with their bare feet and sparkling eyes. The restless, churning climbers. The wild ones using their outside voices, singing all the way home. Give me the wonder-filled, glorious mess makers dreaming of mountains and mud, aching to run through a field of stars.
