Yes, I am on Facebook, but I do not accept friend requests unless I “know” you in some sense, either in real life, face-to-face or if you are a blogger, writer, etc.  I think I have hundreds of unanswered requests sitting there. The point of FB to me is as a more private  online place and to accept every friend request would defeat that purpose. I don’t use my personal Facebook account for business. And in case you’re missing the point: Don’t send me a friend request unless I “know” you in some sense.
